Job Description
Stenbeck & Taylor, Inc. is a Civil Engineering/Land Surveying company servicing both residential and commercial customers as well as contractors and developers. Areas of expertise are surveying, engineering, Title 5 septic system design and repair and the permitting process. Location: 844 Webster St. Suite 3, Marshfield
Hours: Approximately 20 to 40 hrs. per week depending on individual

Key Tasks:
- Gather information to prepare jobs for the field crew and participate in field surveys
- Carry equipment and instruments to site locations
- Research and collect information from deeds
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
Qualifications
- Interest in learning more about Civil Engineering/Land Surveying
- Capable of lifting 35 lbs. (surveying equipment) and carry in field
- Physically fit and able to walk throughout the day
- Enjoys working outside
- AutoCAD proficiency a must
- Able to follow instructions and be willing to troubleshoot/problem solve on their own
- Must be flexible with regard to day-to-day schedule and activities to be able to ‘go with the flow.’
- Positive attitude to jump in and help with “surprise” projects!

REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER
Stenbeck & Taylor, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Site Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. Stenbeck &Taylor, Inc. will give you the opportunity to use all of your strengths as well as challenge you to develop all your talents. Primary responsibilities include design and project management of site development projects. Demonstrated abilities in land development design and plan preparation including AutoCAD/Carlson/HydroCAD proficiency, stormwater management, drainage computations, roadway design, septic/sewer design, permit applications and public presentations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Massachusetts Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Site design, drainage, grading, sewer/septic design, erosion control, utilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Carlson/HydroCAD drainage and other engineering software
- Survey experience a plus
- Soil evaluator (SE) a plus
- Minimum of 5 years experience, no maximum
